Milan’s climate is similar to much of Northern Italy’s inland plains, with hot, humid summers and cold, foggy winters. Usually in summer humidity levels are high and peak temperatures can climb above 30°C (86 °F). In early September the weather is generally warm and comfortable. This season enjoys clearer skies with an average of more than 13 hours of daylight. When precipitations occur though, there is a higher likelihood of them being thunderstorms.
